Day 12 - Yamanakoka Fuji Q - Sat July 6

Spent the day at Fuji Q theme park.

It was fun to hear people scream in Japanese. They are very strict about safety and some rides you can’t bring anything on. I’m not kidding. We needed to take off not just hats, watches and phones, but even jewelry, like watches, necklaces, rings, earrings… I had left my hair tie in but was told that I needed to go as well. They have metal detectors, security wands. You even need to pull your pockets inside out to get on some rides. 

 

They had a Naruto section. My family is fans of the anime series, so we found this a lot of fun.

On one of the tall swing rides we got our first glimpse of Mount Fuji. It is huge. It had been too overcast to see it until this point as the sky was too overcast.
