Day 31 - Busan Tour Day 2 - July 25

Lotte World Busan

Lotte - You see this company everywhere in Korea. They own everything from food, retail, chemicals, construction, tourism, services, finance, towers, and yes, even theme parks. It is like the heat, you can’t escape it, unless you are hiding in one of the many air conditioned Lotte buildings…

Lotte World was included in my free pass! It's not very big, but a fun enough way to pass an afternoon.

The lines were so much better than Disneyline. Was it just too hot? That didn't seem to slow down Disney or Universal when we were there.

This has got to be the largest ice cream I have ever had. We didn't need to eat to for the rest of they day, or the following.

You can rent these buggies, kid in front and driver stands on the back. Although I saw an entire family squeeze on one. 

Lotte Premium Outlets

After Lotte world we went to the Lotte outlet mall to cool off. I needed to practice my bow as Ava tells me gaze was too high; very disrespectful.

Check out the leaf bug dong some shopping as well! I almost stepped on it.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

The temple is built into a cliff over the sea. The most scenic temple I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen a few.

There is small entrance to a cave, you need to climb down a ladder, and inside, a temple.

Back Home

Ava “loved” our hotel room. The washroom had a huge clear window in it. If you feel that personal privacy is over-rated then this is the perfect spot for you! I read later that there were love / by-the-hour hotels (wink, wink) that had been converted to regular hotels with the tourism boom. Perhaps that explains the design. Eek! But it was inexpensive. Spoiler: if you keep reading you may find there is theme in my hotel picks… You can take the Dutchman out of the Netherlands, but the Dutch remains! Ava started reviewing are bookings after this one...
