Favorite Korean Snack - Squid Peanut Balls

 

This snack answers a question everyone wonders about but never says out loud: what happens when you wrap a squid chip around a peanut? For starters, it’s a lethal surprise if you’ve got a nut allergy like my son. For everyone else, it’s surprisingly tasty. Just don’t leave the bag open in your pack like I did unless you want everything smelling faintly of low tide. The peanut rattles around inside the squid shell, too, so the whole snack doubles as a tiny percussion instrument. Nice.
